Give your college student (or college bound student) the gift of time management, PRIORITIZATION, good study habits, and positive self-care.

Does your student struggle with managing time?

Are they unsure how to prioritize tasks?

Are they often overwhelmed or stressed?

Do they have a hard time finding balance?

Do they procrastinate and then run on coffee and adrenaline?

Do you often feel more like their personal assistant than their parent?

It does not have to be that way!

In my 6-week College Readiness Program, your student will learn all the tools and build all the strategies needed to get the most out of their college experience.

It is time to

get the most

out of college.

Packing up and heading off to college often means leaving behind the safety net and support that being at home provides for executive functioning.

The transition can be brutal and often leaves college students feeling completely overwhelmed, lost, and stressed.

But, it doesn't have to be that way.

In this college readiness course, your student will:

01

Have access 6 weekly videos walking them through key executive functioning skills, how to build them, and how to create an actionable plan to put them into place.

02

Attend weekly one-on-one meetings with me to review the videos, solidify the plan, and troubleshoot any cracks.

03

Get clear about the boundaries they need to set for themselves and others in order to get the most out of their experience.

04

Figure out their own personalized set of tools for time management, prioritization, motivation, daily routines, and study habits.

05

Receive weekly materials and worksheets to  stay on track and that can be used over and over again for a lifetime of support.

06

Build upon successes, learn from challenges, and create a truly personalized set of systems that work just for them!

07

Follow-up text support beyond the 6-weeks to support further implementation of the the plans they created, even when they are settling into school.

Who is Corie?

Hi, I am Corie Wightlin!

I am an executive functioning coach, educator, educational advocate, and mindfulness facilitator with over 20 years of experience working with youth, families, and community organizations.

My personal experiences with executive functioning challenges, as a parent to children with executive functioning challenges, as well as my years of supporting families navigating neurodiversity, led me to this work.

Through my years in education, I saw the strong need for parents, students, and the adults around me to have support in showing up for themselves in meaningful and compassionate ways, while also working on being mindful of their journey to reach their goals.

These experiences led me to pursue mindfulness education and coaching for folks in executive dysfunction.  I was soon able to see firsthand in my own family, and through work with my clients, that when someone can combine living in the present moment with a strong understanding of what motivates them, what is keeping them stuck, and what works specifically for them, that is when the MAGIC happens!

Through my experience, it is clear that there is no quick fix and definitely no no-size-fits-all program...and it is my pleasure to guide my clients in finding their path and their desired outcome.

What is it like working with me?

Nat

She has been working with my son for the past year to help support both him and us as parents as we embarked on his ADHD diagnoses. Corie takes a patient and empathetic approach to working with our son and she quickly gained his trust and helped him to open up and identify unhelpful thoughts and ways to change his thinking.  She is a wealth of knowledge in ADHD  and all things executive functioning challenges.   We immediately saw a change with our son after implementing her coping strategies and techniques.  She has been a life saver for our family, but most importantly empowering our son to not feel defined by his diagnosis and harness it as his superpower.

The first time I met with Corie, I thought, "FINALLY, someone who gets me!"

Jane

Corie's gifted approach guided my son to meet realistic goals that improved his quality of life. With a smile and warmth, Corie first helped my son to recognize needs that were not being met in his day to day routine. Then, using her supportive techniques, she scaffolded him in developing reminders and strategies to remember his goals. Each weekly check-in provided an opportunity for my son to evaluate his progress.  My son now knows how to independently manage his routine to ensure his own success.

I am excited to help your student get the most out college, academically and personally. There is no reason to go into college without having this set of tools solidified.
